Job Summary
Warranty Service Manager responsible for overseeing the post-construction warranty process to ensure homeowner satisfaction. Duties include inspecting homes to assess warranty eligibility, coordinating repairs with homeowners and subcontractors, researching and resolving warranty concerns, maintaining records in the warranty database, and managing a budget while upholding quality standards. The role emphasizes delivering professional, proactive service, holding contractors accountable for timely and quality work, and guiding customers on maintenance and warranty limits. Strong communication, time-management, scheduling, and relationship-building skills are essential to drive high homeowner satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Self-starter with excellent time management, scheduling and follow-up skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable holding subcontractors accountable for the quality of their work
- Ability to manage a budget and coordinate repairs with homeowners and contractors
- Experience in the home building industry and/or home repair experience is helpful, but not required
- Willingness to engage with homeowners professionally and resolve warranty concerns
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to document issues and resolutions in warranty database
- Customer-service oriented with ability to manage expectations and objections
