Warranty Repair Technician

Job Summary
Repair and finish gel coat on vessels to match existing finish; spray gel coat, wet sand and buff to match; spray nonskid gel coat; repair structural components such as stringers and bulkheads; de-rig electrical and hydraulic systems in the console and throughout the vessel; troubleshoot and replace basic 12-volt electrical items (lights, horns, switches, batteries, chargers); perform duties safely in a fast-paced environment with required PPE and maintain clean work areas; minor travel as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- minimum of one-year related experience and/or training
- Active driver’s license in good standing
- Ability to travel occasionally based on business need
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Mathematical Skills: basic arithmetic
- Reasoning Ability: apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
- PPE and safety policy adherence
