Job Summary
Warranty Manager at Camping World overseeing Warranty and Parts Departments, supervising staff, initiating and processing warranty repair requests, and providing administrative support to the Service Department. Responsibilities include directing work order preparation, validating warranty coverage, establishing approved repair times and rates, maintaining an online warranty photo library, managing claims and payments, appealing denied claims, ensuring recalls checks, and backing up Advisors as needed. Requires experience in service/advisor or technician roles, strong documentation and software skills (IDS/DM software), excellent communication, organization, and familiarity with warranty procedures and accounts payable/receivable. Location: Houghton Lake, MI.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of Service Advisor or Technician experience (preferred)
- Excellent record keeping and documenting skills
- Proficient in IDS or other Dealership Management software (preferred)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches
- Excellent organization and follow up skills are required
- Good understanding of accounts, invoices, debits and credits
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and move up to 50 lbs with assistive devices
