Warranty Manager

Supervise the Warranty and Parts Departments, initiating warranty repair requests and providing administrative support to the Service Department. Monitor processes, duplicate receipt documents, and create unit service files while cooperating with Advisors to pre-authorize warranty work on new units. Determine repair coverage under Manufacturer and Vendor guidelines, provide approval times and flat rates to dealer personnel, and maintain an on-line photo library for claims. Manage paper flow to claim repairs for payment within seven days, pursue all claims, apply payments including credit memos, and appeal denied claims to keep the AR book current. Ensure all personnel are familiar with warranty procedures, assist Advisors in checking units for recalls, and provide price estimates to Manufacturers before work commences.
