Job Summary
Communicate discovery of components within units that are not listed in the family inspectable component lists and use Salesforce to record findings. Teardown and inspect 4-5 transmissions daily, examining defects to determine causes of failure while utilizing Trello to tag specific issues for appropriate users. Maintain a safe work environment by following standards and procedures, performing administrative and quality support tasks as requested. Requires transmission building or inspecting experience, strong communication skills, and a commitment to continuous learning. Based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, ETE REMAN is the largest independent aftermarket automatic transmission remanufacturer in the United States, rebuilding transmissions since 1985.
Required Qualifications
- Transmission building and/or inspecting experience
- Have a Can-Do Attitude, with good time management, and decision-making skills
- Self-starting and motivation; believe in teamwork and uphold the ability to always help otherS
- Must embrace ETE's core values
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of basic computer systems, including email systems
- Willingness and commitment to continued education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with transmission builders with broad range familiarity with a variety of different transmission families
- Desire and capability to continuously learn new information about transmissions as well as new systems used to perform inspections
