Job Summary
Process warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor and prepare all necessary paperwork to ensure proper documentation. Verify criteria required by factory or distributor, track warranty parts by tagging with repair order number, and arrange for parts shipment or scrapping. Schedule warranty appointments, coordinate with vendors for replacement parts, and file service records as required by the warrantor. Keep informed of all factory recalls and bulletins. This role can be based at any of our dealership locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 1+ years of experience working in dealerships or with OEMs
- Prior experience managing warranty claims from start to finish
- Ability to operate and understand various PC based programs and invoicing
