Warehousing Specialist

Job Summary
Oversee and optimize warehouse operations by monitoring daily inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts. Plan and organize warehouse layouts to maximize space utilization, while coordinating incoming and outgoing shipments for timely order fulfillment. Ensure compliance with safety regulations by conducting routine inspections and training staff on best practices. Manage ERP system activities for material entries and location changes, and maintain accurate records of inventory movements and performance metrics. Collaborate with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to minimize stock shortages and address fulfillment inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in warehousing, inventory control, or logistics
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering or related field
- Basic English
- Understanding inventory control methods, including First In, First Out and Just-In-Time
- Knowledge of warehouse layout optimization, space utilization techniques, and workflow management
- Familiarity with logistics processes, transportation modes, and supply chain principles
- Awareness of warehouse safety regulations and best practices
- Proficiency in using software to track inventory, manage orders, and streamline warehouse operations
- Ability to analyze data, identify issues or inefficiencies in warehouse operations, and implement effective solutions
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with internal departments (such as procurement, sales, and customer service) and external stakeholders (suppliers, logistics providers) to achieve operational goals
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and ensure that deadlines and goals are met efficiently
- Proactive approach to identifying challenges within warehouse operations and implementing effective solutions
- Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances, such as fluctuations in demand, unexpected supply chain disruptions, or evolving business priorities
