Job Summary
Monitor inventory accuracy and transactions between the warehouse, scaling area, and production floor while authenticating goods and documenting discrepancies. Ensure proper handling and storage of ingredients, packaging, and finished goods across allergen, cooler, dry, and freezer zones. Perform receiving, shipping, and put-away functions to achieve timely product movement, maintaining a clean work area and adhering to all safety and food safety regulations. Operate a pallet jack and forklift, utilizing handheld scanners within WMS applications. Work flexible shifts including weekends, nights, and holidays in a cold environment (0-38 degrees) while managing targets and deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience in the warehouse environment
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Relevant combination, of education and experience
- Must be able to operate a pallet jack and Forklift
- Must be certified at Buena Vista Foods on material handling equipment
- Must have experience with WMS applications to include handheld scanners
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to manage time to meet targets and deadlines
- Must have strong Mathematical skills
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule to include weekends, nights and holidays
- Must be able to work in a cold environment (0-38 degrees)
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must pass drug screen
