Job Summary
Warehouseman II handles receipt, storage, inventory control, movement, packaging, and shipment of materials, components, and finished goods. Responsible for accuracy of incoming/outgoing shipments, maintains inventory records, supports production through material kitting and order fulfillment, and coordinates shipping activities per company, customer, and regulatory requirements. Operates material handling equipment; promotes a safe, organized work environment; and supports 5S and continuous operational improvements. Key duties include receiving and inspecting materials, verifying against purchase orders and shipping documents, stocking and issuing materials for production, preparing component kits, staging materials, picking/packing/crating/labeling for domestic and international shipments, determining shipping methods, generating shipping documentation, resolving damaged/short shipments with suppliers or carriers, maintaining ERP-based inventory transactions and cycle counts, and operating forklifts/pallet jacks. Emphasizes safety, compliance with shipping regulations, and teamwork in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. Experience: 1-3 years in warehouse/shipping/receiving/inventory control. Physical requirements include lifting up to 35 pounds and operating material handling equipment.
