Job Summary
Prepares rental equipment orders for shipment and processes returns. Loads, unloads, and moves material within or near the plant, yard, or worksite using hand tools and lift equipment. Responsibilities include reading work orders, handling equipment safely, maintaining inventory, and performing cleaning and inspection tasks. Candidates should have a high school diploma, certification in forklift operation, and at least one year of relevant experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Trained and certified forklift operator with a current/valid license
- Minimum of one (1) year prior rental/warehouse/distribution material handler experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplying, dividing, and counting
- Ability to read, understand, and use all safety operating procedures and equipment
- Ability to operate air tools and hand tools; and wear appropriate personal protective equipment
Additional Requirements
- Must lift objects and move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
- Must wear PPE hearing protection, safety glasses, hard hat and safety steel toe shoes
