Warehouse Worker

Job Summary
Transport goods and supplies into and around the warehouse to ensure on-time delivery. Deliver general warehouse tasks using material handling equipment to store and record goods per agreed procedures. Perform basic inventory control checks on quantities, quality, and availability against records. Follow mandatory procedures to maintain quality standards and adherence to external and internal codes of conduct. Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental policies to identify and mitigate risks. Utilize warehouse operating systems to receive, print orders, and locate inventory. Participate in assessment, development planning, and training activities. Start work at 6:00 a.m. with experience operating equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks. High School Diploma/GED preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related job experience
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently
- Strong planning and organization skills
- Warehouse experience
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be available to start work at 6:00 a.m.
- Experience operating a variety of material handling equipment (lifting platforms, forklift, pallet jack, hand trucks, etc.)
- Ability to lift, twist and carry up 50 - 75 pounds
- Ability to manipulate (push and pull) up to 160 pounds of product with material handling equipment and skids weighing up to 2,000 pounds utilizing pallet jack
- Ability to lift items weighing a few ounces up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Ability to stoop
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to walk throughout the warehouse
- Ability to stand when operating order picker or reach truck equipment
- Ability to sit when driving sit-down material handling equipment
