Job Summary
Receive, inspect, move, and organize incoming materials while issuing them accurately to production and other departments. Unwrap, wrap, and prepare materials for storage or movement, ensuring safe handling of packaging throughout the day. Load, unload, and position materials within the warehouse, maintaining clean, organized work areas free of safety hazards. Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and established procedures while performing other assigned duties. This role supports IEM Canada's warehouse operations in Surrey, BC, requiring the ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to safely lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform continuous lifting, bending, wrapping, unwrapping, and unboxing throughout the workday.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching.
- Ability to safely handle and move warehouse materials and packaging.
- Ability to remain physically active for extended periods during the shift.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience preferred.
- Experience in receiving and/or material issuing preferred.
- Forklift experience or certification is considered an asset.
