Job Summary
Warehouse Worker for Cardinal Health in Elk Grove, CA. Responsible for executing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks related to receiving, storing, and shipping products, including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery to internal and external customers. Role supports efficient flow of products from vendor receipt to shipment, with cross-training in multiple areas, housekeeping and inventory control, and potential certification to operate material handling equipment. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds, ability to work in a refrigerated environment, flexible scheduling (Sunday night through early morning with options for additional hours Monday–Friday up to 29 hours/week), and on-day training. Training provided starting on the first day; inclusive workplace emphasizing diversity of thought and background.
Required Qualifications
- Open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable working in refrigerated area (walk-in refrigerator)
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and walk for entire shift
- Good verbal communication skills and team player
- Flexible and adaptable to changing business needs
- Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment
- Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider
