Job Summary
Select, store, pack, and monitor inventory while reading customer orders accurately and locating specific items to fulfill requests. Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery to stack goods and prepare orders for shipping, performing visual inspections to ensure accuracy before shipment. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization while strictly following safety procedures for equipment operation, including proper clothing, safe food handling, and situational awareness during transport. This physically demanding role involves lifting heavy loads and standing for long periods, requiring strong teamwork and organizational skills. Travel to other warehouse locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience as an order selector
- Experience with inventory skills
- A forklift or other machinery license
- Good mechanical skills to operate machinery and equipment
- Basic mathematical skills
- Good communication, interpersonal, and teamworking skills
- Physical stamina to lift heavy loads and remain standing for long periods
- Must be able to travel to other warehouse locations
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience as an order selector may be advantageous
