Warehouse Worker/ Qualified Driver

Job Summary
Receive, store, and distribute plumbing products while picking, packing, and preparing orders to maintain accurate inventory. Safely operate company delivery vehicles to make local customer deliveries, ensuring loads are secured and order accuracy is verified before departure. Supervise unloading and placement of materials at job sites, utilizing scanning equipment for inventory tracking. Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding delivery status and schedule changes, obtaining customer signatures and proof of delivery documentation. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, report defects promptly, and keep vehicles and work areas clean and organized. Work Monday through Friday with overtime availability in a fast-paced environment requiring heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Hawaii Class C driver's license
- Clean driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass DOT physical to obtain a medical examiners certificate
- Can pass a background check and drug test
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- 2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications
- Knowledge of driving laws and adherence to speed limits while driving a company vehicle
- Knowledge of the procedure in the event of an accident in the warehouse or in company vehicle
- Must complete a comprehensive background check
- Must undergo a physical examination
- Must pass a drug test
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly (includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck)
- Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear
- Distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Desired Qualifications
- Prior warehouse and delivery experience (working with dispatch is a plus)
- Previous warehouse experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred
