Job Summary
Conduct local deliveries using a bobtail flatbed truck, safely loading and unloading materials while verifying order accuracy and obtaining customer signatures. Perform warehouse operations including receiving, storing, and distributing plumbing products, picking and packing orders, and restocking shelves with inventory tracking. Ensure timely deliveries through route planning and adapt to changing schedules or urgent after-hours support requests. Maintain vehicle safety by conducting pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting defects promptly. Work Monday through Friday starting at 8:00 AM with overtime availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent credential
- Valid CA Class C Driver's license
- At least 21 years of age
- Clean driving record
- Able to pass DOT physical to obtain a medical examiners certificate
- Can pass a background check and drug test
- Long hours of moving and heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs
- Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications
- Ability to put things in a proper sequence (e.g., by size, alphabetically, numerically) and to put like items together
- Knowledge of driving laws and adherence to speed limits while driving a company vehicle
- Knowledge of the procedure in the event of an accident in the warehouse or in company vehicle
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs regularly
- Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
- Must complete a comprehensive background check
- Must undergo a physical examination
- Must pass a drug test
