Job Summary
Receive and prioritize orders based on work tags, then unload products from trucks using forklifts or by hand. Retrieve items from inventory via manual methods or forklifts, inspect received items against paperwork to confirm accuracy, and identify missing, damaged, or incorrect goods. Pull materials as needed to maintain stock levels at production workstations and process multiple shipments regularly while resolving discrepancies. Maintain and track inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability throughout the warehouse.
Required Qualifications
- A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet deadlines
- Strong verbal, written, and reading proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service and ensuring customer satisfaction in all interactions
- Collaborative approach, building positive relationships with internal teams, customers, and external partners
- Basic proficiency in math, including counting and performing computations with up to four-digit numbers
- Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Basic computer proficiency, including keyboarding and data entry
- Ability to analyze situations, consider relevant factors, and recommend effective solutions
- Commitment to following workplace rules, methods, policies, and procedures
- Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Specific vision abilities including distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
