Job Summary
Conduct order picking using paper tickets or RF scanners to fulfill customer orders, then prepare and package shipments for loading onto trucks. Unload incoming trucks with a sit-down forklift, verify shipment contents against packing lists, and move product from docks to designated storage locations via forklift, order picker, or turret truck. Complete computer transactions, apply shipping paperwork, and participate in annual physical inventory activities. Adhere to all company PPE and safety requirements while contributing continuous improvement ideas for warehouse efficiency. Work an 8-hour first shift with considerable lifting of medium-weight parts up to 35 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 2+ years of warehouse related experience
- Experience running various types of material handling equipment
- Ability to do frequent bending and lifting to move products
- Team player with good organizational skills
- Comfortable using computers and scanning equipment
- Ability to work in standing position 8 hours/shift
- Considerable arm movement and walking required
- Bending and stooping
- Lifting and handling of medium weight parts up to 35 lbs
