Job Summary
Conduct all warehouse functions including receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing product for customer delivery while maintaining a safe and orderly environment. Operate forklifts and order pickers to process orders, pull materials from storage to fill pick tickets, and verify quantities against invoices and packing lists. Load merchandise into company vehicles and transport, gather, and distribute stock safely. Perform routine equipment inspections and preventative maintenance, reporting defects to the supervisor. Work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- General knowledge of warehouse procedures and ability to operate material handling equipment in a safe manner
- Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements
- Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements
- Ability to pass a Background Check and Drug Screen
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to write and read routine reports or job orders
- Ability to speak effectively with customers or employees within the organization
- Ability to speak, read and hear English
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals
- Ability to interpret documents and instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form
- Ability to organize and prioritize job projects and requirements
- Dependable and regular attendance as scheduled
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to transport, gather, distribute and stock material in a safe, efficient manner
- Ability to keep warehouse organized and orderly at all times
- Excellent attendance record
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
