Job Summary
Load and unload trucks with a forklift, place and rotate items in inventory, and receive, unpack, check, and store materials. Fill requisitions and orders, pack products for shipping, and ensure timely processing of system information and proper documentation. Participate in site inventory every other month, clean work areas by removing empty pallets and debris, and assist managers with special projects. Perform all duties while maintaining valid driver's license and forklift certification, adhering to safety standards and all applicable ordinances. This full-time day shift role at Harrell's LLC requires lifting up to 60 pounds regularly and working in a warehouse environment with exposure to moving equipment and weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- One to two years previous warehouse and forklift driving experience
- Must have current and valid driver's license
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification
- Must be organized, self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to follow directions and strong willingness to learn
- Must be able to climb, sit, hear (other forklift in motion), grasp, and steer a vehicle in motion
- Far and near visual acuity – must be able to see to drive forklift
- Must be able to lift minimum of 60 pounds regularly
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time, walk, reach, bend, pull, and grasp
- Must be able to talk, hear, see, and comprehend
- Must wear steel-toed boots
