Job Summary
Operates various types of forklifts, including high-reach models, for the safe movement, storage, and handling of goods within the warehouse. Loads and unloads trucks, performs cross-dock operations, and ensures efficient flow of incoming and outgoing shipments. Records goods receipts, dispatches, stock levels, and warehouse movements using computerized warehouse management systems. Conducts inventory checks and maintains accurate electronic records to support efficient warehouse operations. Follows safety procedures while working independently and collaboratively to ensure an organized, compliant warehouse environment. Requires a valid forklift license, at least two years of practical experience, and basic computer literacy.
Required Qualifications
- at least 2 yrs of practical/real experience in warehouse work
- active operation of different types of forklifts
- high-reach forklift
- a valid forklift licence/certificate
- experience with cross-dock operations
- experience with loading and unloading trucks
- computer literacy (basic knowledge of Word and Excel)
- willingness to use an IT-supported warehouse management system
- accuracy when electronically recording goods, stock levels and warehouse movements
- a responsible, independent and organized approach to work
