Job Summary
Receive, inspect, label, store, pick, pack, issue, and dispose of inventory materials while verifying shipments against packing lists and purchase orders. Prepare outgoing shipments with accurate documentation, maintain inventory records through cycle counting, and optimize storage locations for efficiency. Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment after required training, perform kitting and Kanban replenishment, and resolve inventory discrepancies under supervisor direction. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and controlled material requirements.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years minimum of experience in warehouse/material handler or closely related role
- Highschool diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 70 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the workday
- Must be able to obtain any required security clearances or regulatory approvals necessary to work with controlled materials
- Must comply with all inventory control, documentation, safety, and quality procedures
- Commitment to maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, or inventory control experience preferred
- Forklift experience or the ability to become forklift certified
- Experience with SAP or other warehouse/inventory management systems is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory records
- Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse documentation
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, punctual, flexible, and self-motivated
