Job Summary
Load and unload delivery trucks, count and sort incoming products, and store items in bins or racks according to style, size, and brand. Utilize company computer systems to direct workflow, read pick sheets to gather and palletize orders, and examine stock for quality conformance. Document received or damaged items, maintain organized work areas, and participate in inventory cycles. Obtain forklift certification to safely operate equipment while lifting up to 55 pounds regularly. Perform duties at the Anchorage warehouse with varying temperatures and moderate noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
- one to three months of related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be 21 years of age
- Prefer working knowledge of warehousing, forklift, and pallet jack operations
- pallet building
- inventory procedures
- Must have or acquire forklift certification
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal
- complete visual ability
