Job Summary
Unload all inbound trucks, record freight accurately, and return product to picking areas while ensuring proper code rotation for out-of-stock items. Assist with loading and unloading shipments, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and uphold safety protocols with prompt reporting. Handle frequent two-handed lifting from floor to overhead levels and manage inventory accounting with high attention to detail. Work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM at TJ Sheehan, a distributor of domestic, import, and craft beverages across Central and Western New York.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Self-Motivated
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate business equipment
- Ability to walk and climb steps and stairs
- Ability to handle frequent exposure to temperatures ranging from 30 - 100 degrees F
- Ability to perform two handed lifting, handling and carrying of cases from floor to overhead levels
- Ability to perform two handed lifting, handling and carrying half barrels and quarter barrels from floor to 48"
- Ability to sustain squatting, kneeling and/or bending while handling products
