Job Summary
Learn and memorize customer product specifications for raw produce like peppers, tomatoes, and cucumbers, then utilize this knowledge to quickly and accurately sort incoming items on production lines. Separate product meeting specifications into finished packages while directing non-compliant items for proper sorting. Perform this work in a refrigerated warehouse environment requiring full shift standing, walking, and manual dexterity, with the ability to lift up to 30 lbs. Previous experience in a produce or production setting is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working with produce or in a production environment preferred
- Ability to learn and retain a wealth of product and customer knowledge
- Ability to make critical decisions quickly and repeatedly
- Manual dexterity: ability to work with hands for the entire shift
- Must be capable of frequently lifting up to 30 lbs
- Position requires standing and walking for the entire shift
