Job Summary
Operate auto scales and perform manual scaling at the reweigh station, including general operation and basic maintenance. Stack boxes weighing up to 50 pounds on pallets segregated by product code, load trucks by hand or with equipment, and fill customer orders using Telxon equipment. Repair cases, identify items for return, rotate stock, and submit daily scale adjustment reports to assure inventory accuracy. Maintain a clean work area through daily sanitation and report shipping problems or concerns to a supervisor immediately. Work Monday through Friday with occasional weekends from 3:00pm to 11:30pm. Pallet jack or forklift certification and hand-held scanner experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Or more
- Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including: addition, subtraction, division, multiplication (Prove it test)
- Valid driver's license
