Job Summary
Conduct manual order picking and build customer shipments using RF scanners, while accurately labeling products and preparing pallets for dispatch. Safely operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and pump trucks, performing daily pre-shift checks and maintaining constant awareness of safety hazards. Participate in scheduled inventory cycle counts and consistently uphold a clean, safe work environment by adhering to all provincial safety and environmental standards. This role requires 3+ years of warehouse experience, the ability to lift loads up to 50 lbs, and strong English communication skills. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $20.80–$22.00 plus afternoon shift premiums, along with allowances for safety gear and comprehensive health benefits. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years' experience with order picking, shipping, receiving, and other general warehouse duties
- Experience operating forklifts or other similar material handling equipment
- Experience working in environments with a plethora of product SKUs, requiring strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Willingness and ability to frequently lift loads of up to 50 lbs
- Willingness and ability to occasionally push, pull, or move loads of up to 100 lbs
- Very strong communication abilities in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a broader warehouse team
- Strong initiative and high levels of personal responsibility
- Ability to follow all policies, procedures, and processes, with strict adherence to all company and provincial safety standards
- Previous experience with WHMIS and TDG
- Satisfactory results from background checks including criminal record checks and professional references
- Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada to be considered
