Job Summary
Operate a baler machine to secure, package, and bind large volumes of clothing while loading and unloading trucks for heavy lifting. Receive, sort, price, and prepare donated items for store display or discard based on established standards. Hang clothes on racks, assist donors with receiving donations, and help customers in the furniture warehouse. Act as a truck helper by riding in a Salvation Army truck, lifting donations, navigating for the driver, and ensuring vehicle compliance. Maintain warehouse neatness, assist with seasonal drives, and interface with the public and donors. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift over 50 lbs., and willingness to work with children.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two (2) years of experience in sorting, receiving, storing, loading, and unloading of materials in a warehouse or store setting
- Valid State Driver's License
