Job Summary
Properly count finished product cases, package items for shipping, stage goods for loading, and load/unload raw materials onto trucks. Receive inbound materials, move them to storage, and maintain quality control by rejecting damaged products. Operate within standard operating procedures, complete daily logs, communicate with operators, and clean work areas. Safely operate forklifts and electric pallet jacks while adhering to SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices. Work the 2nd shift in a fast-paced manufacturing environment requiring strict safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- reliable transportation
- work a flexible schedule
- willing to work overtime, including weekends if necessary
- read and write in either English or Spanish
- stay focused in a loud working environment
- work in a manufacturing environment requiring strict work/safety rules 100% of the time
- experience with loading trailers
- pass Forklift training and receive certification
- safe forklift and electric walking pallet jack operations
