Job Summary

Supervise and lead warehouse associates during daily fulfillment operations, prioritizing picking, packing, shipping, and receiving activities. Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, conduct evaluations, and train new staff on procedures, equipment, and safety practices. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and audits while enforcing OSHA compliance and 5S standards. Coordinate staffing levels, resolve operational issues, and prepare daily performance reports for management. Collaborate with purchasing, inventory, transportation, and customer service teams to ensure orders are processed accurately and shipped on schedule. Work 90% of the time on the floor guiding the team, lifting up to 50 pounds, and operating warehouse equipment safely in varying temperatures.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree
  • 2–5 years of warehouse or distribution experience
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Experience with Netsuite and inventory control
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic computer and reporting skills
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • 90% of time to be spent on the floor guiding the team
  • Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
  • Bend, stoop, climb, and reach throughout the workday
  • Work in varying warehouse temperatures
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely

Desired Qualifications

  • Forklift certification
  • Experience in wholesale high-volume distribution along with vendor compliance and routing
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma knowledge
  • Experience managing productivity and labor metrics
  • Familiarity with barcode scanners, RF devices, and shipping software
