Job Summary
Develop and implement storage systems and policies to maximize efficiency in warehousing operations. Manage centralized receipt, storage, and distribution of food, equipment, and supplies while maintaining accurate inventory control and cataloging. Supervise team members through hiring, performance evaluations, coaching, and daily operational oversight to ensure safety standards and compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Coordinate with vendors to reconcile invoices, handle shortages, and arrange emergency shipments. Compile regular reports on stock damage, outdated items, and shipment discrepancies. Maintain a clean, safe work environment and oversee facility and equipment maintenance.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- DMV check eligibility
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to move and handle boxes (35lbx – 50lbs or more)
- Physical ability to perform all functions as set forth above
- Ability to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends and holidays
- Three - Five years minimum in food warehouse supervisor experience
- Background in receiving, storing, inventory and distribution of food & beverage in hotel, entertainment or cultural attraction venue
- ServSafe or Food Certification
- Must be 18 years or older
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proven leadership skills with an understanding of the importance of team building/development, while fostering partnerships
- Exceptional problem solving/decision making skills combined with the ability to be organized
- Demonstrates organizational and planning skills
- Demonstrates the ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Computer and/or inventory system knowledge
Desired Qualifications
- Background in receiving, storing, inventory and distribution of food & beverage in hotel, entertainment or cultural attraction venue a plus
- ServSafe or Food Certification a plus
