Job Summary
Unload products from containers onto pallets in designated stack formations; utilize motorized equipment such as pallet wrapper, compactor, baler, and motorized conveyor as needed; label pallets with destination tags and coordinate with warehouse clerks and forklift drivers to move products to locations for transfer or stocking; maintain pallet flow and cleanliness; follow all safety requirements; maintain clean work areas and be able to work overtime in a fast-paced warehouse environment; work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues; basic arithmetic skills required for counting pallets; familiarity with Vendor Stock Sheets; lifting up to 40 lbs repeatedly; attention to safety standards and efficiency in stock handling.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma preferred
- Knows how to use pallet jack
- Must be able to use arithmetic skills to count stacked pallets
- Be able to work on a team to accomplish goals
- Good verbal and Written communication skills
- Ability to understand Vendor Stock Sheets
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Have the ability to work overtime
- Understanding safety standards within a warehouse
- Physical Demands: Lifting an average of 40lbs repetitively
