Job Summary
The Transloader is responsible for preparing product for movement including loading and unloading trailers, checking product into an inventory system, and stacking and counting product manually. Responsibilities include utilizing various material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts, verifying proper stacking and shipping of products, reporting shortages or damages, assisting in inventory tasks, and maintaining equipment and work areas. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with experience in a warehouse setting and operating powered equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years’ experience in Warehouse environment
- 6 months minimum experience with forklifts and related powered industrial equipment
Desired Qualifications
- Good arithmetic, reading, and data entry skills
- Ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines
- A starter that can work independently and coordinate with others
