Warehouse Training Manager

Job Summary
Develop and implement standardized warehouse training programs across all shifts and facilities, establishing onboarding and certification for associates, material handlers, inventory specialists, leads, and supervisors. Create training matrices, standard work instructions, and hands-on exercises for receiving, put-away, storage, kitting, and material movement processes. Ensure employees complete required training before operating equipment and manage annual recertification, FIFO/FEFO compliance, and audit readiness. Maintain accurate qualification records, certification databases, and dashboards for workforce readiness and compliance metrics. Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and EHS teams to support rapid manufacturing growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
- 7+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supply chain management, logistics, or manufacturing operations
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing warehouses, receiving, or distribution teams
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and material handling processes
- Ability to work in warehouse, manufacturing, and industrial operational environments
- Ability to regularly walk warehouse floors and oversee receiving dock operations
- Ability to travel periodically between operational sites as required
- Ability to work in fast-paced production and industrial environments with varying operational demands
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant operational leadership experience may be considered
- Experience working within aerospace, satellite manufacturing, automotive, advanced manufacturing, or high-volume industrial production environments
- Experience supporting lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives
- Experience with ESD/FOD controls and aerospace quality systems
- Experience implementing Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong leadership and team development capabilities
- Excellent organizational and operational planning skills
- Ability to manage multiple sites and competing operational priorities simultaneously
- Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, rapidly scaling manufacturing environments
- ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or equivalent)
- Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Inventory management platforms
- Microsoft Excel (advanced reporting and analysis)
- Microsoft Teams and Office Suite
- Barcode scanning and inventory tracking systems
- Reporting and KPI dashboard tools
