Job Summary
Maintain the Welcome Center attendant log for commercial and private vehicle arrivals and departures. Check all inbound and outbound seals on vehicles and communicate effectively with management regarding any welcome center issues. Interact with drivers and visitors in a polite professional manner while following Standard Operating Procedures for freight checking. Monitor Closed Caption Television equipment and advise management of any occurrences. Depending on location, operate equipment and maintain equipment certification. Perform other duties as assigned. Schedule includes swing shifts Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Hourly pay is $18.00 with overtime at $27.00 and a $1.00 shift differential for second shifts. On-the-job training is provided, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and paid time off are available starting at 30 days.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years experience in freight coordination / scheduling / planning
- Must possess excellent time management skills
- Must be very organized
- Highly proficient in Microsoft programs
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Positive attitude
- Ability to maintain a sense of urgency
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must be able to operate equipment
- Must be equipment certified
