Job Summary
Warehouse Technician performs pick, pack, build, and secure pallet orders; moves, stages, pulls, and stores material; uses LPN and DSI for inventory movement; inspects, labels, weighs material for shipment; ensures shipments meet SOP standards; completes picking documentation; double-checks quantities; cross-trains across departments; maintains clean, safe work area; participates in safety programs and continuous improvement initiatives; must hold forklift certification and have basic computer skills; able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted (100 lbs with assistance); strong teamwork and communication required; 8-hour manufacturing environment with PPE requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift certification
- High school education or GED equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read, write clearly, and do simple math
- Good verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work with others
- Ability to stay organized and maintain a clean workplace
- Experience in a collaborative manufacturing environment
- Flexibility to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to be cross trained in multiple areas
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch, reach, and lift for 8 hours
