Job Summary
Detail-oriented Warehouse Technician at the Yellowhead Warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta. You will inspect finished products, verify packaging integrity, ensure accurate labeling, enter product data into the ERP (M3) system, load trailers, and maintain a neat, safe workspace. The role requires operating material-handling equipment (e.g., forklift), performing heavy lifting, and collaborating with Packaging to handle non-regular products. Emphasis on Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environment policies, along with attention to quality and timely shipping. Must have a minimum of three years' warehouse or production experience, strong math skills, and good communication; ability to work independently or as part of a team; willingness to pass background checks and drug/alcohol testing. Regular shift is 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM; overtime and Saturdays as required; Champion is an equal opportunity employer. Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years’ work experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate material handling equipment, including forklift
- Ability to pass Drug & Alcohol and Fit-to-Work test
- Ability to clear a Criminal Record Check and provide references
- Strong basic mathematical skills with ability to weigh and measure items
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Self-directed, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
