Job Summary
Conduct daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping products using RF scan guns and electronic pallet jacks. Load, unload, and move product according to routing documents while verifying bin locations and stock levels. Prepare outbound freight by palletizing, creating shipping documents, and coordinating carrier pickups. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and safety, complete daily equipment inspections, and cross-train on backup duties as requested. Operate forklifts and stock pickers while lifting up to 50 pounds. Work a day shift with availability for overtime and after-hour emergency calls.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of three years' general warehouse experience
- Minimum of one year of freight shipping experience
- Able to drive and safely operate a forklift, stock picker and electronic pallet jack in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.178
- Experience using bar code readers, computer terminals (computer literate) and/or other electronic devices
- Solid mathematical abilities/aptitude
- Capable of working at a fast pace
- Excellent time management skills
- Self-motivated, self-reliant, able to work with little direction
- Reliable/dependable (prompt, with good attendance)
- Capable of multi-tasking
- Flexible to change direction or focus as priorities dictate
- Previous license operating a forklift AND stock picker
- Ability to lift, carry and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift, carry and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Close vision
- Availability as requested/required for after-hour emergency calls
- Availability as requested/required for necessary overtime
