Job Summary
Warehouse Technician I – Shipping Center is responsible for inventory replenishments, picking/packing compounded pharmaceutical products, and shipping using ERP and carrier systems. The role verifies bills of lading and packing slips, handles defective/expired inventory, unloads and loads materials, completes paperwork per CGMP and company procedures, and supports distribution from pick list to carrier pickup. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, capable of labeling and stocking inventory correctly, ensuring accurate and timely shipment to customers, and collaborating with customer service to resolve shipping issues. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to pass drug and background checks, 18+ years old, familiarity with Microsoft Office, basic data entry, and potential forklift/equipment training. The position operates on a set, full-time schedule (Mon-Fri, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM CST) on-site in Sugar Land, TX, with safety-sensitive responsibilities and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Able and willing to walk, stoop, stand, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout each shift
- 18+ years of age
- 2-4 years of experience in Distribution, Warehousing, Shipping, Receiving, Logistics, Material handling, Customer Service, Inventory Control, or other comparable service line
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
- Completion of picking, packing, and closing competency assessments
- Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis; Quva will not sponsor applicants for work visas
- Ability to drive forklift, use electric and manual power jacks (Training will be provided)
- Basic computer and data entry skills
- AS400 and INFOR or other ERP experience
- Pharmaceutical experience (edge)
- Knowledge of CGMP and regulatory standards
- ERP system transactions
- Carrier shipping systems
- QA and compliance
