Job Summary
Sort, identify, and store incoming materials in specified bins and shelves. Count, prepackage, label, and perform operations to facilitate storage and selection while maintaining simple stock records. Make entries on company documents regarding count, location, and type. Accurately count and document the entire warehouse inventory once per month. Receive supplies from outside the company, verify accuracy, and distribute materials to various departments. Wear appropriate PPE, follow health and safety instructions, and dispose of chemicals appropriately while maintaining 5S standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be able to work in all weather conditions
- Must successfully complete the 40-hour Hazwoper Course
- Required annual 8-hour refresher Hazwoper
- Must be able to drive a forklift and obtain forklift certification
- Must wear the appropriate PPE and follow all health and safety instructions
- Must dispose of chemicals appropriately
- Must maintain 5s Standards
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Experience in manufacturing or warehousing preferred
