Job Summary
Prepare daily outgoing customer orders, ensuring accuracy, proper documentation, and labeling that meets D.O.T. Requirements. Process supply orders by pulling, packing, and staging materials in appropriate areas ready for transport. Inspect freight bills and bills of lading while placing received materials in proper storage locations. Load and unload trailers individually or with assistance, operating forklifts and other material handling equipment safely to move inventory. Maintain a safe, clean work environment adhering to 5S standards and comply with environmental, safety, health, and quality department programs. Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed while collaborating with team members to meet daily operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or GED
- One to five years of prior warehouse operations/dock operations experience
- Valid state drivers' license and clean driving record
- Good communication, teamwork, organization and planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to Push/Pull up to 100 lbs.
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Basic math skills
- Experience operating forklifts safely
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physical tasks required for warehouse operations
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Resilience - Ability to adapt to workplace challenges, maintain professionalism, and manage responsibilities effectively
- Communication - Capacity to clearly and professionally exchange ideas, interact respectfully with colleagues and customers, and foster positive workplace relationships
