Job Summary
Pick, pack, and ship orders accurately while receiving and storing incoming stock within 24 hours. Maintain inventory systems, bill shipments daily, and load/unload freight using a forklift. Track incoming orders for the Service Department, perform physical inventory counts, and conduct minor building maintenance. Keep the warehouse clean and organized per 5S guidelines. Support continuous improvement efforts and participate in required training. This temporary role lasts 3-6 months with on-call hours as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent education
- Fork lift certification or demonstrated ability to safely operate a fork lift
- Previous warehousing experience
- Previous work experience should have demonstrated a strong mechanical aptitude and good work ethic
- Must be able to sit for extended periods if needed
- Must be able to use hands to feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
- Must be occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Must be regularly required to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be frequently required to lift up to 75 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to work On-Call hours as business needs require
