Job Summary
Warehouse Technician at CERTEX USA, responsible for pulling, packing, and shipping orders, delivering orders locally, operating motorized equipment, and maintaining inventory accuracy. The role emphasizes strong organizational skills, attention to detail, safety compliance, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key duties include receiving and locating inventory, restocking, counting with a scale, operating forklift and other tools, performing transactions in inventory systems, and supporting shipping platforms. Requires forklift certification (highly preferred), basic computer skills (MS Office), and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team; travel to various work sites or training may be necessary; standard full-time hours with potential overtime, nights, and weekends. Pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background checks, and I-9 documentation are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months of experience in warehouse operations or manufacturing preferred
- Forklift certification highly preferred
- Ability to operate hand tools and various types of motorized equipment
- Strong math and reading/communication skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with computers and software including Microsoft Office Suite
- Pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and criminal background check
- Willing to travel to various work sites or training as required
- Willing to work overtime, nights and weekends when necessary
- Wear PPE and comply with safety requirements
