Job Summary
Warehouse Teammate at Hajoca Corporation’s Plant City, FL location. Responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming shipments and return material; stocking and maintaining the warehouse; picking, documenting, and packing customer orders; handling shipping discrepancies; identifying nonstock or damaged material and storing accordingly; loading/unloading trucks and safely operating forklift and material handling equipment; maintaining security, cleanliness, and safety; and assisting coworkers in servicing customers. Must have 1 year of warehouse receiving/material handling experience, strong customer service and communication skills, high attention to detail, ability to learn product knowledge, safety practices, and commercial computer systems; English proficiency; and basic arithmetic skills. Required Qualifications
- 1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
- Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred
- Read, write, speak, and understand English
- Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment
- Ability to learn computer-related systems used for warehouse operations
