Job Summary
Warehouse Team Member I at Interstate Batteries responsible for accurate processing of warehouse transactions (receiving, transfer, pick, pack, ship) using RF/barcode scanning, operating various forklifts and pallet jacks, maintaining battery inventories and batteries-related equipment, keeping the warehouse safe and clean, and supporting warehouse reporting. Requires basic communication skills, attention to detail, ability to learn warehouse systems, physical ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs, and willingness to perform general warehousing duties and adapt to multiple tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate
- Written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
- No experience required
- Experience in warehouse operations preferred - including RF/HH equipment, forklift, electric pallet jack and stretch-wrap machine preferably in warehouse environment
- Working knowledge of computers or ability to learn applicable systems required
