Job Summary
Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of warehouse operations. Perform core functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Allocate resources and organize daily work duties to ensure optimal shift logistics. Inspire team members toward improved KPIs using appropriate leadership styles. Assist in onboarding employees and promote health and safety working methods. Manage day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets and bills of lading, while completing daily reports and proposing action plans. Valid forklift license and RF scanner experience required. First shift Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. Weekly pay of $18.00 per hour with overtime at $27.00.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
- Valid forklift operator's license certified
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
- One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
- One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
- One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective leadership skills
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Performs work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proactively approaches responsibilities
- Maintains composure under pressure
- Working using health and safety methods
- Bilingual (For Québec locations only)
