Job Summary
Lead a team of around 10 in a fast-paced multi-customer warehouse (VAS operation) to drive productivity and uphold quality, health and safety, and customer service standards. Responsibilities include team leadership and development, conducting team briefings, coordinating labelling and customer-specific activities, monitoring and achieving KPI targets, ensuring goods in and stock handling run smoothly, and supporting investigations and disciplinary matters. Requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, ability to motivate and coach staff, and familiarity with warehouse IT systems and compliance processes.
Required Qualifications
- Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced operation
- Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to prioritise workloads
- Proven ability to motivate teams and meet/exceed targets and KPIs
- Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications
- Ability to coach, develop and support team members
- Experience with health, safety, hygiene and compliance processes
- Experience with investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters in line with procedures
