Job Summary
Lead and ensure continuous improvement efforts for optimal efficiency of warehouse operations. Perform warehouse functions including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting. Allocate resources and distribute daily work duties to ensure optimal shift logistics. Inspire and guide team members toward improved Key Performance Indicators using appropriate leadership styles. Assist with employee orientation and promote health and safety working methods. Manage day-to-day paperwork such as picking sheets and bills of lading, while completing daily reports and proposing action plans to enhance service levels. This role supports distribution across the US, handling routers and accessories. Weekly pay of $22.25 per hour is offered for day shift Monday through Friday, with overtime available.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or experience with an RF scanner advanced required
- Valid forklift operator's license certified
- Bilingual (For Québec locations only)
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- One (1) year or more powered industrial truck experience preferred
- One (1) year or more previous experience as Team Lead preferred
- One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
- One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Effective leadership skills
- Possesses flexibility to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent organizational skills
