Job Summary
Monitor customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping to ensure safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. Operate machinery including cherry pickers, reach trucks, forklifts, and pallet jacks while maintaining required process audits. Report discrepancies, damaged items, and shortages immediately. Train new and present employees in customer service duties and warehouse operations. Maintain Distribution Center organization and cleanliness. Collaborate with leadership for process improvements and enforce company procedures and safety rules. Work Monday through Friday from 1pm to 9:30pm at S&S Activewear in Lockport, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Ability to read and speak English
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Ability to operate a warehouse equipment and machinery
- Must be comfortable using electronic devices
- Can lift and carry up to 50lbs on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
- Basic math skills, ability to count, add, and subtract numbers quickly and accurately
- Ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label, and SKU information
- Must be flexible with start and departure time changing
- Ability to work overtime when needed
- Ability to work independently without close supervision
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment if required
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
