Job Summary
Ensure efficient warehouse and loader operations by operating forklifts to load/unload route trucks and inter-branch trailers while verifying load sheets for correct product and equipment. Maintain high quality standards through yard maintenance, inventory accuracy, and compliance with GMPs and internal brand standards. Act as a lead loader to train associates on equipment safety, facilitate seamless handoffs, and support contingency plans for operational changes. Review daily achievement targets, report variances in meetings, and complete cycle counts to maintain accurate inventory.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
- Two or more years prior experience within a warehouse or distribution environment
- Forklift experience
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record (no major offenses in the last three years)
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 60 pounds throughout the work shift
- Ability to work flexible hours, including extended shifts and weekends, as needed
- Strong English language skills to effectively communicate with customers and provide exceptional service
- Proficiency in English
